Credentials Awarded

Certification as a Power Line Technician

When you successfully complete the Apprenticeship Program you are awarded Provincial and National Credentials. For Provincially recognized programs the ITA awards a Certificate of Qualification and Certificate of Apprenticeship.  For Nationally recognized programs, an Inter-Provincial (IP) Red Seal Endorsement is affixed to the ITA credential.

Apprentice of the Year Award:  The Jerry Rector Memorial Award (2007)

For Outstanding Achievement in the Power Line Technician Apprenticeship Program every year the Joint Line Apprenticeship Training Association (JLATA) and the Local 258 of IBEW give recognition to an Apprentice who has demonstrated outstanding achievement throughout the year’s apprenticeship training cycle, which includes both in-school and on-the-job performance.

JLATA is currently undergoing site maintenance at this time.
